Birstall Allotment Society (BAS) is spread over three sites in the village of Birstall; Meadow Lane Allotment Worcester Avenue Allotment and Greengate Lane Allotment. BAS was the brain child of founder members Dave Cherry and Mary Farrell. An inaugural Annual General Meeting was convened in February 2008, a Constitution agreed and committee members voted in. BAS Constitution (Under Review) Data Protection Act 1998 - BAS Policy BAS members are affiliated to the National Society of Allotment and Leisure Gardeners Ltd (NSALG). Membership of BAS is restricted to Birstall residents and it is a requirement that members also become members of the NSALG. Birstall Allotment Society Committee members
