Hello...despite being someone who gets involved with stuff normally, I've had to stubbornly take a rest from such stuff where the allotment is concerned. However, I thought that whilst I was catching up with allotment related stuff today, I'd make a small contribution to our website and show BAS some support!

Early October - My little gem, sat on a bed of hay. Probably mauled by badgers by now, in which case, please send consolation wine. 11/10/09 - Slight Badger damage detected. Makeshift protection crafted, though not much can hold back a badger belly flop. Grrr. 17/10/09 - Fear of frost prompts emergency pumpkin collection...long suffering father carries it home and mentions that it was rather heavy. I should probably have listened to him when he asked if we were taking the wheelbarrow. Poor bloke. |
