Gardening quote—

The most noteworthy thing about gardeners is that they are always optimistic, always enterprising, and never satisfied.  They always look forward to doing something better than they have ever done before.

Useful Websites -

Freegle and Freecycle

Don’t throw it away, recycle it! Instead of sending your washing machine, TV, computer, building rubble, concrete slabs, or anything else  you no longer need to landfill let someone else give it a second use and help save the planet. It’s free to join and free to give and receive.

Merrydale Poultry - If you've ever contemplated growing your own eggs then this is the website for you. Located at Whetstone, Leicestershire, they have everything you will need from Pol-hybrid hens, chicks, hatching eggs, feed, chicken coops & accessories.

Down the Allotment - It's a sort of Facebook (Vegbook?)  where allotmenteers and veg growers can join groups, communicate with each other and take advantage of a lot of free resources such as forums, advice, bartering, free allotment blogs etc.
